風の音づれ Vol.104 遊びながらアートを鑑賞しましょう！

Today, let’s take a look at what our first to third graders are doing in Art and Craft lessons.
今日は、一年生から三年生が図工・アートの授業で何を学んでいるかをご紹介します。
We recently introduced the Art Card Set from the National Museum of Art as part of our “Art Appreciation” unit. The set features selected artworks from five National Art Museums in Japan, including paintings, sculptures, and architecture from around the world. The goal is for students to learn to appreciate and connect with art.
今、私たちは「アート鑑賞」の一環として、国立美術館のアートカードセットを導入しました。このカードには、世界中の絵画や彫刻、建築を含む、日本の5つの国立美術館から選ばれた作品が載っています。児童たちには、アートに親しみ、作品を楽しみながら理解を深めてもらいたいと考えています。
Instead of just observing the artwork, we’ve used the cards in fun and interactive ways! In the “Self-Introduction Game,” each student picks a card and relates it to something about themselves. For example, one student picked a rooster sculpture and said, “I like eating chicken,” while another chose a sunset painting because they love colorful things.
ただ絵や彫刻を見てタイトルを読むだけではなく、アートカードを使って楽しいゲームをやっています。まず「自己紹介ゲーム」では、児童たちがそれぞれカードを1枚選び、その作品と自分を関連づけて紹介します。例えば、ある児童は「この鶏の彫刻を選んだのは、私が鶏肉が好きだからです」と言い、別の児童は「私は色とりどりのものが好きだから、この夕焼けの絵を選びました」と話していました。
We also played “The Detective Game,” where one student thinks of a card, and the others ask questions like, “Does the card have red in it?” or “Is it an animal?” The student can only answer with “yes” or “no.” The goal is to guess the card as quickly as possible. Everyone had a lot of fun playing this game!
次に「名探偵ゲーム」をしました。このゲームでは、1人の児童がカードを1枚思い浮かべ、他の生徒たちが「そのカードに赤色は使われていますか？」や「動物が描かれていますか？」といった質問をし、はいかいいえで答えます。みんなとても盛り上がって、楽しんでいました！
There are still many other fun ways to use the cards, and I am excited for the students to continue enjoying and learning about art through these activities.
他にもまだたくさんの方法でカードを使うことができるので、児童たちがアートを楽しみながら学び続けることが楽しみです。
